A production company is seeking a freelance crew based in Cairo for an important upcoming private event. The content to be produced includes the following: * Video Coverage (3 days) - 3 minute overview clip. - 1 minute behind the scenes & bloopers. - 10 to 15 minute documentary. - 2 to 3 hour as-live coverage of the entire event. * Photo coverage (2 days) ----------------------------------------- Below are the crew openings for the project: * 1 Documentary and short segments director - Will also be in charge of the execution and delivery of the project and function as the manager of the production. - Preferably the director should have interviewing skills and a friendly approach as he/she will be required to conduct some interviews for the documentary and direct the overall vibe of the event by interacting with the attendance. - Must have sufficient knowledge of how camera captures light as the director will work closely with the lighting company for the day of the event and make sure that the light design is well suited for both the naked eye and the lense of a camera. * 2 photographers - We need creative photographers with a sense of direction to capture spontaneous moments and a good sense of manipulating natural light and sunset/nigh time photography. *3 Videographers - We will be shooting DSLR 5D or Sony Alpha a7s || - ENG, Drone, Steadycam, Crane, Slider - Experience with audio is a plus. * 1 Editor -Should be creative and able to cooperate with the director, capabale and quick with editing software of choice, preferably experienced in editing music videos and documentaries. Must have a good rhythm matching audio to video. -Editor will be responsible for editing audio and video, color-correction, photoshop & after effects. ------------------------------------------------- *** Finally and most importantly, all crew members must have a collaborative team spirit and a get it done attitude and be able to improvise and solve any technical issues on the spot. The harmony between the team members is number one for this production to success. This project is the first of many series of its kind and we are aiming to eventually have fixed teams that will crew on similar projects in Egypt and across the middle east.
